Unfortunately, car and truck accidents are a frequent occurrence, and their results are often devastating for friends and family. In January 2009, a truck driver was traveling on the Schuylkill Expressway when he slammed into a 1997 Infiniti sedan. The impact of the collision killed the driver of the sedan. The Infiniti was pinned underneath the truck, which was said to be hauling 73,000 pounds of produce. The truck driver was already convicted of vehicular homicide and related offenses in June, 2009.
